510th Fighter Squadron come back - 2024 -
Il 18 novembre 2024, 12 F-16CM Fighting Falcon del 510° Squadrone Caccia di Spedizione (Expeditionary Fighter Squadron 510th EFS) sono tornati da un lungo dispiegamento, nell’area di responsabilità CENTCOM, nella la base aerea di Aviano AB, Italia. I Membri dal 510th EFS sono stati dispiegati in varie località del Medio Oriente e sono rimasti distaccati per ben 209 giorni! Il 510° EFS, è stato inviato nella regione del Medio Oriente in primavera, ma, per potenziare le Forze aeree statunitensi nella regione, il ritorno dell'F-16CM di Aviano è stato ritardato, fornendo agli Stati Uniti due squadroni di F-16 in Medio Oriente, insieme a il 480th FS di Spangdahlem AB, Germania. Membri e famiglie del 510th EFS hanno salutato i piloti e gli specialisti dopo il ritorno dal lungo dispiegamento.
Grazie all’interessamento e impegno dell’Ufficio Pubbliche Relazioni di Aviano nella persona di Angela Zammattio, che ringraziamo per aver organizzato un tale evento, ci è stata data l’opportunità di fotografare gli F-16 del 510th EFS al loro rientro.

The 510th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron’s (510th EFS) 12 F-16CM Fighting Falcon a/c returning from a deployment in CENTCOM area of responsibility at Aviano Air Base, Italy, on Nov, 18 2024 . Members from the 510th EFS deployed to various location around the Middle East. They were away on detachment for 209 days! The 510th EFS, which were sent to the Middle East region in the Spring, but, to boost U.S. Airpower in the region, the return of the Aviano’s F-16CM has been delayed, giving the U.S. two F-16 squadrons in the Middle East, together with the 480th FS from Spangdahlem AB, Germany.

Thanks to the interest and commitment of the Public Office Reports by Aviano in the person of Angela Zammattio, whom we thank for having organized such an event, we were given the opportunity to photograph the F-16 of the 510th EFS in question.
