SALA ESPOSITIVA PERMANENTE ALL’AEROPORTO “ PAGLIANO E GORI” DI AVIANO

Martedì 16 ottobre è stata inaugurata la sala espositiva del Comando Aeroporto di Aviano. L’idea, nata con i precedenti  comandanti della Base, ha finalmente avuto attuazione con il Comandante dell’Aeroporto in carica, Colonnello Pilota Luca Cappelli, che l’ha fatta propria fin dal proprio arrivo alla base friulana. L’impegno e la dedizione del personale dell’Aeronautica nell’allestimento e restauro del materiale selezionato,  il supporto di amici ed appassionati di aviazione nelle ricerche e selezione del materiale fotografico, ha permesso di raggiungere questo risultato ad un anno dalle celebrazioni del centenario dell’Aeroporto. La sala raccoglie un vasto repertorio di cimeli e documenti iconografici che ripercorrono la storia del Pagliano e Gori. Se alle pareti più di un centinaio di pannelli fotografici mostrano immagini d’aviazione dell’aeroporto che partono dalle origini (1911) ed arrivano fino ai giorni nostri (operazioni sulla Libia, 2011), negli spazi centrali sono collocati manichini con divise d’epoca, ed abbigliamento più recente come la tuta di volo del pilota di jet completa del set anti-G, eliche originali del Caproni Ca.3, un seggiolino eiettabile Martin Baker del F-104, motori Lycoming dell’elicottero Bell 47 e Rolls Royce “Viper” del MB-326, la motobomba F.F.F. e il siluro utilizzato dagli SM-79 durante la 2° Guerra Mondiale. A completare la dotazione di cimeli non mancano caschi, apparecchiature radio ed altra strumentazione di bordo degli aerei. La sala è aperta ai singoli visitatori tutti i giorni dal lunedì al giovedì, dalle 9:30 alle 15:30, previo appuntamento concordato telefonicamente. Il numero telefonico per i contatti è quello del centralino (0434-673111). Dopo breve attesa un operatore mette in comunicazione con il personale dell’Aeroporto addetto alla gestione della struttura. Anche gruppi ed associazioni hanno la possibilità di visitarla negli stessi orari, ma con priorità il giovedì.

Tuesday, October 16 was inaugurated the exhibition hall of the AirBase of Aviano. The idea, originated with former Italian Air Force commanders, has finally been implemented by the Italian Air Force Commander in charge, Colonel Pilot Luca Cappelli, who has made his own since his arrival at the base of Friuli. The commitment and dedication of the Italian Air Force personnel in setting and restoration of the selected material, the support of friends and aviation enthusiasts in search and selection of the photographic material, has achieved this result to a year from the celebrations of the centenary of 'Airport. The room contains a vast collection of memorabilia and iconographic documents that trace the history of the “Pagliano and Gori” Airport. If the walls more than a hundred of photographs showing images of aviation airport that start from the beginning (1911) and arrive to the present day (operations over Libya, 2011), are located in the central area dummies with period uniforms , clothing and more recently as the flight suit of a jet pilot complete set anti-G, propellers original Ca.3 Caproni, a Martin Baker ejection seat of the F-104, Bell 47 helicopter engines Lycoming and Rolls Royce " Viper "of the MB-326, the Motobomba FFF and the torpedo used by the MS-79 during the 2nd World War. To complete the equipment of memorabilia there are helmets, radio equipment and other instruments on board the aircraft. The room is open to individual visitors every day from Monday to Thursday, from 9:30 to 15:30, by appointment agreed by telephone. Groups and associations also have the opportunity to visit the same times, but with priority on Thursday.
