L' AAFG in visita alla Sala Storica permanente al "Pagliano e Gori" di Aviano  

L’A.A.F.G.(Aviano AB Aviation Friends Group),in collaborazione con il comando italiano dell’ aeroporto di Aviano, ha promosso due visite alla sala museale del suddetto. Accolti dal Sergente maggiore capo Stefano Zecca e dal Sergente maggiore Lorenzo Semeraro,il 19 e il 26 novembre 2013,con alcuni soci dell’associazione abbiamo potuto entrare per vedere dal vivo dei meravigliosi reperti storico/aeronautici. Innanzitutto alle pareti sono esposte delle bellissime fotografie che tracciano la vita dell’aeroporto dal 1911 (anno della sua nascita) ai giorni nostri e molte di queste ,con orgoglio,sono di alcuni soci dell’A.A.F.G.,che ha collaborato attivamente alle cerimonie del centenario dell’aeroporto nel 2011. Ci sono poi molti pezzi di assoluto valore storico,come : divise,caschi da volo,strumenti,modellini di aerei,armi e motori aeronautici. Ma quelli che meritano più attenzione sono : una DERIVA originale del Caproni Ca.3,bombardiere che era di base ad Aviano nella 1^ guerra mondiale , l’AEROSILURO,che era montato sugli aerosiluranti S.79 della Regia Aeronautica durante la 2^ guerra mondiale , aperto e in cui si vedono tutti i componenti meccanici per la guida e il moto dello stesso,costruito tutto in ottone , veramente meraviglioso anche per il lavoro di ristrutturazione fatto dal personale dell’aeroporto al di fuori dell’orario di servizio e gratuitamente. Poi un altro pezzo di pregio e rarissimo è : la MOTOBOMBA F.F.F.,dal nome dei progettisti Freri,Fiore,Filpa, era una variazione dei siluri, veniva lanciata da 4/5 mila metri di quota con paracadute che si apriva a 130 metri, a un metro di profondità si innescava un movimento elicoidale sempre più ampio per circa 30 minuti, se nel periodo di tempo non colpiva alcun che si autodistruggeva. Erano indicate per attaccare i porti nemici,non furono comunque ben comprese e la Regia Aeronautica ne ordinò solamente 500. Alla fine delle due visite siamo stati accompagnati a vedere i tre gate guardian della base, il 1° sul piazzale del comando italiano,si tratta del TORNADO IDS già 102°gruppo del 6°stormo , poi in testata pista nord/est l’F 100 D SUPER SABRE e l’ F 16 VIPER con le insegne del 31° F.W. Due ore di visita veramente intense e soddisfacenti,anche per la preparazione storica e tecnica dei nostri accompagnatori. Un ringraziamento particolare va al Comandante l’aeroporto di Aviano,colonnello navigatore Valentino Savoldi,per la disponibilità data alle visite della sala museale all’A.A.F.G. e ai nostri accompagnatori,sempre disponibili alle nostre esigenze,Sergente magg.capo Stefano Zecca e Sergente magg.Lorenzo Semeraro.

The A.A.F.G. (Aviano AB Aviation Friends Group), in collaboration with the Italian command of the Aviano airport, promoted two visits to the museum hall of the aforementioned. Welcomed by Chief Sergeant Stefano Zecca and Major Sergeant Lorenzo Semeraro, on 19 and 26 November 2013, with some members of the association we were able to enter to see the wonderful historical / aeronautical finds live. First of all, on the walls are exposed beautiful photographs that trace the life of the airport from 1911 (the year of its birth) to the present day and many of these, with pride, belong to some members of the AAFG, who actively collaborated in the centenary ceremonies of the airport in 2011. There are also many pieces of absolute historical value, such as: uniforms, flight helmets, instruments, model airplanes, weapons and aircraft engines. But the ones that deserve more attention are: an original DERIVA of the Caproni Ca.3, bomber that was based in Aviano in the 1st World War, the AEROSILURO, which was mounted on the S.79 torpedo-bombers of the Royal Air Force during the 2nd war worldwide, open and in which you see all the mechanical components for driving and motion of the same, built entirely of brass, truly marvelous also for the restructuring work done by the airport staff outside service hours and free of charge . Then another valuable and very rare piece is: the FFF MOTOBOMBA, from the name of the designers Freri, Fiore, Filpa, was a variation of the torpedoes, it was launched from 4/5 thousand meters of altitude with parachute that opened at 130 meters, to one meter deep triggered an ever-widening helical movement for about 30 minutes, if during the period of time no self-destruct hit. They were suitable for attacking enemy ports, but they were not well understood and the Royal Air Force ordered only 500 of them. At the end of the two visits we were accompanied to see the three gate guardians of the base, the 1st on the square of the Italian command, this is the TORNADO IDS already 102nd group of the 6th flock, then in the north / east runway head the F 100 D SUPER SABER and the F 16 VIPER with the signs of the 31st FW Two hours of really intense and satisfying visit, also for the historical and technical preparation of our companions.
